Throwaway culture, over consumption, litter, pollution, nature depletion, and planned obsolescence are all factors of one issue that connect every area of work at Sustainable Merton - Waste.

 

Sustainable Merton’s Community Fridge fights food waste and food insecurity. Merton Garden Streets and community Growing Spaces teach green skills around low waste growing, such as composting and food sharing within communities. The Wheel, Sustainable Merton's waste reduction and circular economy project, signposts to innovate, sustainable solutions right here in Merton, nurtures the green skills of repair and upcycling, and promotes circular start-up businesses.
